Is Jigsmith free?
The whole editor is free — every shape, add, cut and intersect, measuring, 3MF and STL export — for up to 3 parts in the library and 8 steps in a part. Jigsmith Pro lifts both limits: $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial, or $59.99 once.
What happens to my parts if Pro ends?
Nothing is locked. Every part you have still opens, edits and exports. The limits only stop you adding a new part beyond 3 or a new step beyond 8.
How do I restore or cancel a purchase?
Open Settings in Jigsmith, then Jigsmith Pro, and tap Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple Account settings.
Can I change a hole after it has been cut?
Yes. A part is a list of steps and each step keeps its numbers. Tap the step, type a new diameter, and the part is rebuilt.
Do the samples count towards the free limit?
Copying a sample is free. The copy goes into your library as an ordinary part and counts as one of the 3.
Which files can I open and export?
Open STL, 3MF, OBJ, PLY and USDZ. Export 3MF in millimetres or STL — both open in any slicer that reads those formats.
Do I need an account or a connection?
No account, and it works offline. Your parts are stored on your device.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later.
